Touring Into Schools

Two performers dressed as crabs with cardboard shells and claws are pictured outside on a small stage. On the cardboard backdrop behind them, Boxville is written in large red letters.

Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, John Lyon's Charity and Barnet Council, we're providing 10 schools each term with a free theatre performance, introducing students to accessible, professional theatre.

Working with a professional theatre company, artsdepot will provide 10 (mostly) faith schools with a touring show, introducing children to innovative theatre, adapted to meet cultural requirements.

This project aims to ensure that young people in Barnet, who may not otherwise get the opportunity to see a theatre performance, can connect to the performing arts and doors to opportunity can open as a result.

This Autumn Term 2024 our Touring into Primary Schools performance is BOXVILLE.
Using their trademark sustainable cardboard puppet style you can venture into BOXVILLE, a land made entirely from sustainable cardboard! Work with the BOXVILLE engineers to craft-a-long and build your way through the story, meeting paper dragons, corrugated pirates and cardboard space robots in this stem skilled, hands on, interactive, time travel adventure! Aimed at ages 4 – 8.
