You are all invited to our Fun Palace birthday party!
Embrace your inner child and join us for a day of FREE birthday party-themed activities for all ages.
A birthday party filled with exciting reactions and colorful moments to celebrate our community and artdepot’s 20th birthday – hip hip hooray!
This event will be taking place 11am – 4pm at Colindale Community Trust, The Concourse, The Old Library NW9 5XA.
Arts & crafts, music, science experiments, workshops, dancing and more…
- Build a giant birthday cake out of recycled materials
- Watch The Bonkers Balloon Science Show* with Becky the Balloonatic
- Play nostalgic party games and relive the joys of childhood
- Design a birthday card and unleash your creativity with our badge-making machine
- Create with your little one at our Creative Explorers (age 0-3) drop-in class, through movement, music, storytelling & messy play
- Dance at Playworker Amber’s 30 minute ‘Locomotive Dance Party’ – for all ages (at 3pm)
- Read and take home a multi-lingual book in our giveaway – kindly donated by Mantra Lingua UK

* The Bonkers Balloon Science Show, will bring science to life and encourage the next generation of artsdepot scientists. Balloons are fun, right?
Well, if balloons are fun then that must mean that science is fun! Full of spills, thrills explosions and pops, Becky the Balloonatic, loves balloons and wants you to see just how much we can learn from them. What is a prediction? How do we carry out an experiment? What do we mean by equipment? And Just what is science…?
There will be performances of The Bonkers Balloon Science Show at 12 – 12.45pm and 2 – 2.45pm
**artsdepot Creative Explorers (age 0 – 3) drop-in classes – come along and explore creativity with your little one through movement, music, storytelling, messy and creative play.
Find new child-led ways to play and create whilst developing coordination, creative and motor skills along the way. Become creative explorers and share the journey with other parents, grandparents and carers! Led by experienced and friendly teacher and Dance Artist Cheryl McChesney.
Creative Explorer sessions will take place at 11 – 11.45am and 1 – 1.45pm
All activities are FREE and you don’t need to book – just come along and enjoy the fun!
