Barnet & Culture for Youth is Barnet's Cultural Education Partnership and aims to provide a rich cultural education for every child and young person in the borough.

Apthorp Architecture Exhibition – A Creative Schools Project

Supported by funding from the Ove Arup Foundation, the Apthorp Architecture Exhibition is an exciting project delivered by socially engaged architects with the aim of creatively connecting young people to themes of sustainability.

Touring Into Schools

Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, John Lyon's Charity and Barnet Council, we're providing 10 schools each term with a free theatre performance, introducing students to accessible, professional theatre.

Summer Work Experience

SEN Work Experience

We offer a programme of work experience for learning disabled young people aged 16 - 24 in late Autumn each year.

Backstage Tours

We offer schools the opportunity to experience a Backstage Tour of our Pentland Theatre space. In this tour, students go behind-the-scenes to discover how to bring a performance to life – through lighting, sound and staging.

PRU Creative Workshops

Thanks to generous funding from Arts Council England and the John Lyon’s Foundation, artsdepot has been able to continue our long-standing relationship with The Pavilion Pupil Referral Unit.
