Join us for a free day of creativity, culture, and tradition as we celebrate the arrival of Spring and Romania's vibrant heritage.

Activities include:

Cross-Stitching Mărțișor designs with Visual Artist Irina Stanean: Learn the art of cross-stitching and create your own beautiful Mărțișor designs.

Create Your Own Traditional Mărțișor: Craft the iconic red and white symbol of Spring using string, beads, fabric, ribbons, and flowers. Take home your unique creation or gift it to a loved one!

Wish Tree: Write a note with your wishes for health, happiness, and prosperity, and hang it on our beautiful wish tree.

Create Spring Flower Bouquets: Gather Spring flowers and tie them with red & white string to take home your own bouquet.

Art Exhibition and Sale: Discover artwork by Ionela Flood and her students.

Romanian Book Giveaway from Mantra Lingua: Take home a bilingual children’s book in English and Romanian

Gift, Craft and Clothing Stalls: Explore unique gifts and souvenirs inspired by Romanian culture.

Well-being Workshop with Ovidiu Moldoveanu: Make well-being gifts with resin, take home product samples & discounted treatments.

Poetry Recital by Ionela Flood and Book Launch with Transylvanian Edition Publishing House: Discover the diverse stories, traditions, and landscapes of Romania.

Romanian Culture and Charities Together Information Stall – find out about this wonderful social enterprise dedicated to supporting the Romanian community.

Romanca Society and Transylvanian Edition Publishing House Information Stall – Offering support and assistance for the social integration of Romanians who live and work in Britain’s multicultural society.

Mititei & Beer for sale at our Café: try delicious Mititei – traditional grilled Romanian sausages, served with mustard, and cold Romanian beer for the perfect combo.
