Hop Skotshne is a new collaboration of klezmer musicians. Together they have been researching and exploring lesser-known melodies from this fabulous repertoire of traditional tunes.
The lineup consists of clarinet, trumpet, violin, French horn, accordion and poyk (Eastern European drum set).
The band take the authentic repertoire of Jewish wedding music from Eastern Europe, and add their unique and inventive interpretations. This celebratory music will take you on an emotional journey – be prepared to cry, laugh and dance!
