Roshi Nasehi is a Welsh-born polymath artist of Iranian parentage specialising in music, theatre, installation, cross disciplinary collaboration, public art and social engagement projects.

Her work has won widespread critical acclaim, including from the Independent, the Guardian and Mixmag who within their 5-star review described her as “one of the most singular voices working at the moment.”

She has received many commissions including BBC Radio 3 and 4, Southbank WOW and a major British Council commission to present public sound installations in Kuwait.

Roshi will be developing a new show exploring Mahin Quadiri, dubbed the Agatha Christie serial killer of Iran. Presented through storytelling, interview-archive, singing, sound art, film, this multi-media piece confronts Mahin’s awful deeds whilst critiquing the Iranian societal factors that contributed. The piece also explores the supposed influence of MENAphile Christie on Mahin and the opulent Poirot-esque fantasy worlds she may have dipped into.
