A workshop aimed at artists and emerging producers who are tour booking or looking to tour a show for the first time!
In this workshop, Dais Hale will cover what to include in your venue pack, how to choose and approach venues and the variety of artist deals a venue might offer you.
The Hale is a London-based arts producing company specialising in experimental, socially engaged work that is not restricted by form. The Hale was founded in 2021 by Daisy Hale, who is the Creative Director. We exist to produce and develop artists who have been traditionally ostracised from mainstream spaces with a focus on Queer, Trans, Global Majority & Learning Disabled & Neurodivergent identities.
This event is part of artsdepot’s STATIONS Artist Development workshop programme.
Free places are available for Barnet-based artists, funded by The Shared Prosperity Fund, Mayor of London and UK Government. To be eligible, you must have a UTR (for self-employed artists) or company number. To apply for your free ticket, please complete this form.
Base Rate – £8 This cost is the basic rate required to cover the running costs of the class.
Supporter Rate – £10 The supporter rate is for anyone who is able to and wants to pay a bit extra to support other participants. The money goes into our Access fund which enables us to offer subsidised spaces for those who experience financial barriers which mean they wouldn’t be able to participate in the workshop.
