William Shakespeare’s plays are prismatic, offering a spectrum of emotions and meanings. They narrate beautiful, emotional stories that deeply connect us to human experience.

Influenced by what is going on in the world, writer Soussan Farrokhnia thought, what if instead of the witches, Macbeth had met a group sent by a cult, e.g. the Eleusinian cult, one of the first and ancient cults known for its secretive rituals and influence in the governing of a nation. They succeed in convincing him to be a traitor as MacBeth has a sensitive, fragile soul and personality; he kills the king and becomes a king to serve and govern for the benefit of the Eleusinian.
