In Her Strength

On a textured lilac background, purple text reads In Her Strength

Vicky Moran and Claire Gilbert used their Artist Residency to work together on In Her Strength, creating a theatre piece that fuses together spoken word, gig theatre and real stories, written and inspired by women who have experienced homelessness.

Vicky Moran is a director, writer and community artist based in NW London. As a multi-disciplinary artist working primarily in new-writing, her work is inspired by the injustices around her. She created work with companies such as Cardboard Citizens, Clean Break, Donmar Warehouse, Soho Theatre, The Pleasance and Theatre 503. In addition to being the Lead Artist of In Her Strength, she is currently a Project Associate for the Young Vic and an Alumni Associate for Jerwood Arts.

Claire Gilbert is an international theatre producer who works in arts for social change. She is the Producer of In Her Strength and a proud Essex girl who has most recently opened Becoming British as part of the Migration Matters Festival.
